Due to parental leave, we are looking for a committed and reliable Materials Manager (m/f/d) for our location in Hallsberg, Sweden, to start as soon as possible – on a fixed-term contract until March!
YOUR TASKS
• You will be responsible for the scheduling of service and spare parts and will regularly coordinate with fleet management and our service technicians
• Together with the purchasing department, you will be responsible for the procurement of materials and services
• You will maintain an overview in the ERP system, reliably checking and maintaining master data
• You will play an active role in our obsolescence management.
• You will assist with inventories and interim inventories and ensure that everything runs smoothly
• You will support our environmental management, help maintain the hazardous substances register and help to ensure safe storage
• You will assist in the monitoring of measuring and testing equipment.
• You initiate the repair process for components and keep an eye on it
• You are also responsible for commissioning and monitoring spare parts repairs
• You ensure that goods receipt and dispatch run smoothly and take care of logistics
• You keep an eye on and control the stock levels at all our locations
YOUR PROFILE
• You have a degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification – alternatively, a vocational qualification in metalworking or electrical engineering with relevant professional experience
• You have in-depth knowledge of logistics and materials management
• Experience in the maintenance of rail vehicles is a plus, but not a must
• You are a team player with strong organisational skills and work in a solution-oriented, safety-conscious and independent manner
• You have strong analytical skills and always act in an economical and responsible manner
• You have good written and spoken English skills (at least level B2.2)
• Additional European language skills are an advantage
