IT Support Technician, Älvsjö
Are you a tech-savvy and resourceful IT Support Technician with strong problem-solving skills? Hydroscand is now looking for a Service Desk Technician who wants to help build our internal Service Desk. You will play a key role in ensuring effective IT support and take ownership of IT issues across the entire organization from our office in Älvsjö.

Responsibilities
As an IT Support Technician in the Service Desk, you will be involved in the daily IT support and act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all IT-related questions for internal users, warehouses, stores, and other operational areas within Hydroscand. You will work both proactively and reactively to ensure a well-functioning IT environment, performing tasks such as troubleshooting hardware, software, user accounts, networks, and application support. You ensure that all IT issues are handled quickly and efficiently, with a focus on minimizing business interruptions. Support is provided both on-site and remotely to other sites and countries within the organization. You enjoy traveling, as visits to Hydroscand's sites and involvement in startup projects will be part of the role.
The primary goal for an IT Support Technician is to deliver smooth and efficient IT service to the business – with minimal disruptions – and enable the organization to achieve its goals through technology.

Be an important part of the overall IT support and services delivered on a global level according to established SLAs.
- Daily incident management in the ITSM tool; provide support, respond to user inquiries, orders, and certain categories of Request for Change (RFC).
- Manage the lifecycle of user accounts (On and Off-boarding).
- Configure and distribute hardware; computers, printers, network devices, meeting rooms, and other IT equipment.
- Coordinate purchases, deliveries, and lifecycle management of software and hardware.
- Create, maintain, and update technical documentation, processes, and workflows.
- Work with relevant stakeholders and other IT teams to improve existing systems and processes.
Participate in the setup and implementation of new Hydroscand sites.

Your profile
To succeed in this role, previous experience working in a Service Desk is required where you have worked with analytical troubleshooting, administration, and demonstrated good skills in handling both phone and email communication in a professional manner.

You thrive both independently and as part of a team. You possess excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing. You are open to travel for work and are highly proactive and hands-on in your approach. In challenging or high-pressure situations, you act swiftly and decisively, ensuring clear and continuous communication with your team. You take initiative, stay engaged, and are not afraid to step in and take ownership when major issues arise.
Additionally, you have:
- Technical competence and experience in Microsoft 365 and hybrid identity solutions (Entra ID and Active Directory).
- Experience with client support: Windows 10/11 and Intune.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity, networks.
- Experience with ITIL processes. Incident and service request management.
- Experience in managing network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls, as well as knowledge of TCP/IP networks and application protocols.
- Experience with Cisco Meraki is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft ERP support is a plus
- Experience with KCS (Creating, maintaining, and updating technical documentation, processes, and workflows).
- A driver's license is highly advantageous.
