Global Product Innovation Manager
We are looking for a Global Product Innovation Manager to become our Voice of Customer (VOC) in the early innovation phase, contributing to shape the portfolio roadmap through business case development and evaluation of potential opportunities.

You will be the commercial steering voice in cross functional innovation teams. Your main task will be to evaluate and put commercial value behind early product technology and to service ideas. A cross functional role where you will create and own business cases for each potential future product and from that conclude and recommend next step.
Further, you will identify opportunities and gaps in existing product portfolio working closely to our commercial organisation, funnel and capture needs and opportunities in new categories guided by our strategy.
Responsibilities
Be Marketing lead within our innovation team, and as such;
- Drive market insight and research needed to develop early ideas into concepts with internal and external partners to shape early Go-to-Market (GTM)scenarios.
- Provide commercial directions to our cross functional innovation team throughout the whole innovation phase.
- Gather intelligence from commercial organisation to develop early business cases and GTM scenarios
- Own and develop early business cases and project charters.
- Ultimately recommend stop/go decisions regarding new product ideas to Innovation Council, based on commercial viability analysis.
- Report and provide regular updates to the Innovation Council.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor products and activities.
Overall, the required competencies include a mix of strategic insight, analytical thinking, market and commercial expertise, leadership, and effective communication, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and innovation.
Background / Qualifications
- An academic background (M.Sc./B.Sc.) in Product Management, Business economics, Marketing, Life Sciences or similar.
- At least 10 years of experience working in/with product development and/or product management and/or innovation processes, marketing and/or sales
- Full command of the English language, both written and spoken and preferably a good understanding of Swedish.
- Multinational company experience preferably from medical device sector or pharmaceuticals.
