Your mission
In this position, you're responsible for leading and developing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving overall procurement performance. You oversee the implementation of best practices, continuous improvements, as well as global and local strategies. Additionally, you define annual productivity improvements with suppliers and communicate the use of applicable processes, systems, and tools. By collaborating with other functions, you ensure strategic sourcing perspectives are integrated into key processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the Global Category Management team and activities.
- Achieve performance targets by leveraging total cost of ownership levers.
- Manage main framework agreements and negotiations.
- Maintain a sustainable supplier base that supports company strategy.
- Monitor global supply markets to interpret market intelligence.
The location for this position is flexible within Europe and some travel is included in the job.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a background in procurement and extensive experience in similar positions within global organizations. You excel in negotiation, contract establishment, and have a solid business acumen. Your knowledge is backed by a university degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
As a confident and collaborative leader, you foster strong stakeholder relationships and create an environment that encourages teamwork and innovation. Your analytical mindset and commitment to continuous improvement make you a valuable asset in driving performance and delivering results.
