The EMEA sales region consists of four regions and central functions. The role of the central functions is to provide value, both for our sales teams and customers. Part of this is ease of doing business, which includes setting expectations, creating clarity and quick response times. This role will sit in Finance & Sales Operations which is one of the central functions in EMEA and will balance the requests from our customers with the overall direction of Axis.
What you’ll do
As Contract Manager in the Head Region EMEA, you will take on a dynamic and multifaceted role. At times, you will be hands-on, reviewing contracts and assessing risks. You will play a pivotal role as advisor to our internal teams, providing guidance on contractual matters and ensuring that we comply with our legal and commercial policies in interactions with external parties. Part of this is to navigate when to enter contract discussions and when not! In some cases, you will manage the entire process—from drafting new agreements to overseeing their execution. You will work closely with the entire sales organization in EMEA and in close collaboration with especially the Legal Department and IT Governance.
Key responsibilities
- To analyze sales contract requirements, terms and conditions and prepare material for internal assessments in coordination and collaboration with sales representatives and our Legal Department.
- To work actively with enhancing contract knowledge within our internal teams and ensure compliance with legal guidelines and policies.
- To have a project leading role for contractual matters and participate in external meetings and negotiations with distributors, channel partners and end customer, in collaboration with other internal stakeholders. This applies not only to sales related contracts, but also for office lease, events and other activities
- To manage our portfolio of existing contracts ensuring timely execution, consistency and compliance, and managing the digital signing process (DocuSign) for EMEA.

We are looking for an analytical, proactive and structured individual who enjoys working with a broad range of stakeholders while driving the contract process forward. You have strong self-leadership skills and the ability to work independently, as you will be the sole Contract Manager within EMEA.

Relevant experience and background:
- Strong experience with sales related contracts, such as for example Distribution and Non-Disclosure agreements.
- Solid background in commercial contract management, including negotiation ability, stakeholder management and cultural adaptability
- Experience and knowledge about GDPR and data protection
- Ideally a background as an experienced purchaser or legal counsel, holding a relevant university degree.
- Excellent proficiency in English and good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
