Role: Art Director
Location: Stockholm, Sweden
About the role:
We are collaborating with a global leader in the drinks and beverages industry to recruit a talented Art Director. We're seeking an experienced creative visionary with over 5 years of experience in advertising, a strong background in art direction, and a passion for AI in creative processes. In this role, you'll collaborate across functions with a dynamic team of 15 professionals and contribute to ground-breaking campaigns that push creative boundaries.
What you will be doing:
- Create and manage original, persuasive, conceptually compelling work for campaigns, content, and experiences with support from the Creative Director.
- Working proactive to push the brands to explore new creative expressions.
- Collaborate with on-site and in-house teams to explore ways to develop creative presence through innovative content.
- Develop creative output that is on-brand, innovative, challenging and attuned to the cultural interests of the audience.
- Ensure all concepts follow responsible communication guidelines.
- Help develop content calendars that support and extend marketing initiatives, identifying the most effective methods and channels for each sub-section of the target audience.
- Identify and build relationships with and bringing to fruition, collaborative projects with partner platforms, websites, influencers, and channels which, can extend the reach of the content and help deliver authentic experiences to the target audience.
- Supervise the teams to be an arbiter of best practices in terms of messaging, strategic targeting, and style.
- Work with the data and analytics teams to gauge content effectiveness and make recommendations based on those results.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of AI in creative processes, with a forward-thinking mindset towards emerging technologies.
- Fluent in Swedish and English
What you need to be great in this role:
- Extensive experience working with both luxury and commercial brands.
- Experience in consumer goods, luxury, or drinks & beverages sectors preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of fashion and lifestyle industries, with experience directing visual narratives.
- Demonstrated success leading and executing international campaigns for high-profile clients.
- Skill in developing tailored aesthetic concepts that resonate with sophisticated audiences.
- A helicopter view of the content world and emerging trends in social media communication.
- Hands-on design experience at leading creative studios.
- Strong foundation in graphic design and visual communication principles.
- Proven ability to co-create with photographers, stylists, partners, and fellow art directors.
- Experience managing end-to-end creative processes, from brand identity to campaign development.
- Expertise in motion-driven content creation and execution.
- Excellent portfolio of work that demonstrates high quality art direction and design within a variety of marketing campaign and platform projects.
- Strong layout and design skills across print and digital.
- Actively support the Creative Director with new business activity, networking and pitching where required.
- Experienced in liaising directly with the client and the ability to build strong relationships.
- Experience with strategic brainstorming, creative brief development, and creative execution.
- Experience meeting clients and presenting your work.
- Ability to think creatively and justify concepts to clients and team members.
- A helicopter view of the content world as well as emerging trends in social media communication
- A deep understanding of Editorial & Publishing models.
- A developed and working awareness of all major content platforms and channels and a view on new platforms.
- Experience in consumer goods, luxury, or drinks & beverages sectors preferred.
